That daft old biddy Nana Moon is warbling around this week as she prepares for her wedding to Wilfred. But in the manner of all such unlikely soap partnerships, Wilfred turns out not to be the man he pretends he is.
This emerges during an encounter between Alfie Moon and Wilfred in Walford's underused Tube station, when Alfie learns that Wilfred is not the diamond geezer he's always appeared.
The fabulous Pat, just about the only sensible and decent person left in Albert Square, also finds out the hard way that Wilfred is not all that he seems, when she checks her bank account.
Elsewhere, the bailiffs at last turn up to turf out the dreary Ferreiras and their kidneys. Hooray! And Chrissie, comely wife of the increasingly sleazy Den, gets all possessive when she becomes convinced that he's seeing someone else. Really, love, he's not worth it.
