Monday 20th Dec
Kat worries about Alfie as he hasn’t opened his stall, but a
devastated Alfie is at home listening to Nana’s voice on the
answering machine.
Martin, meanwhile, feels uncomfortable when he is out with Sonia’s
friends, who make him feel even more alienated.
Elsewhere, the Miller’s survey their tatty Christmas decorations.
Keith suggests making their own but Darren comes up with a plan.
Tues 21st Dec
Martin vents his frustrations and insecurities over Sonia with Gus
and Juley. Gus advises Martin to listen to Sonia, but will he take note?
Jake can’t believe it when he realises that Alfie has kept Nana’s
secret for so long.
Elsewhere, Johnny is furious with what he finds
in Ruby’s bag.
Thursday 22nd Dec
The Square prepares for Nana’s funeral and Alfie puts on a brave
face as he tries to write his speech for the service.The whole
Square turns out dressed in black, with a splash of their favourite
colour, as Nana requested.
Friday 23rd Dec
Sonia moves out and Martin desperately tries to hold things together
as he tells Pauline that she won’t be joining them for Christmas.
Elsewhere, Ruby worries about telling her dad that she’s moved
out. However, Stacey manages to convince her that there is no
time like the present and the two head off to find him.
Sunday 25th Dec
After losing Nana, Alfie is unsure of what to do with his life but
decides his future is not in Walford. But will he manage to sort
things out with Kat before he leaves?
Following Pauline’s surprise, things are still strained between
Sonia and Martin as they try to find a reason to get through the
day together.
Monday 26th Dec
Now that they have made their decision, Sharon and Dennis
decide to throw a party to celebrate.
Ruby, meanwhile, tries to put things right with Johnny and begs him
to accept Juley.The situation is clearly tearing Ruby apart but will
Johnny back down?
Tues 27th Dec
Sharon apologises to Johnny for Dennis’s behaviour but something
about his manner suggests that the matter is far from over.
Elsewhere, Rosie visits Nora and has an awkward encounter with
Mike.
Thursday 29th Dec
Sharon goes to see Pat and tells her everything. Pat warns Sharon
to take the threat seriously, but will she listen?
Meanwhile, Ruby is proud of Juley for standing up to Johnny.
Friday 30th Dec
Sharon and Dennis spend their final minutes in the flat as they
prepare to leave the Square and spend New Year’s Eve with Vicki.
Meanwhile, after spotting a chink in Phil’s armour, Johnny continues
to wind him up.
Sunday 31st Dec
The New Year’s Eve festivities continue in Albert Square. Dennis
antagonises Phil, telling him how meeting Sharon has changed his
life. In his final attempt to get Dennis to take the bait, Phil drops
a bombshell…

Deano Wicks arrives in the Square having hitch-hiked a lift in a van.
He wanders around looking for his great aunt Pat and ends up
meeting lots of the residents along the way.
When he eventually finds Pat, she agrees to let him stay but is fully
aware that she is in the presence of a typical Wicks charmer.
