Sam is told that she will be held in custody for a further two weeks and is petrified of going to prison. She wants Kittle to make an application for bail but it will cost her a considerable amount of money. In her moment of need, Sam calls upon Billy.
Elsewhere, Ian teases Alfie about his love life. But Alfie has made up his mind and, by the end of the day, it will all be over.
Tuesday, September 06
Alfie spots Kat standing alone in the market but they don’t talk. Stacey takes Kat to the café where Kat confides that she feels like an idiot. Stacey urges Kat to find her bloke and throttle him.
Meanwhile, Alfie tells Ian that he feels like he has blown a hole through his own heart.
Elsewhere, Billy is agitated as he tries to get through to Sam’s lawyer. When he finally speaks to a tearful Sam, he tells her to hang on in there. Sam is insistent that she doesn’t want Peggy to know but Billy doesn’t promise anything.
Thursday, September 08
Jake and Alfie, talking in the Square, spot Kat returning home from a night of clubbing, on the back of a truck, singing at the top of her voice. Kat goes home to pack her case as Alfie tells Nana about the state he saw her in. As she pops out, Alfie goes round to the Slaters’ to look for her.
Sam tells her lawyer that Chrissie is twisted and completely mad, but she gets the feeling that he doesn’t care whether she is innocent or not. A prison officer later tells a depressed Sam that she has a visitor.
Friday, September 09
Sam is tearful as she talks to her mother. Through sobs, she explains to Peggy what happened with Andy, and tries to make it clear that she didn’t kill Den.
Alfie describes to Kat how he felt when he saw her singing – she was everything he fell in love with.
Elsewhere, Demi is nervous about the reaction she will receive when she takes Aleesha out.
