Looking for support, Pauline asks Derek to talk to Martin, but he doesn’t want to get involved. However, when Pauline later spots the pair deep in conversation, she assumes Derek’s fighting her corner.
Elsewhere, Alfie arranges an evening in with Little Mo and they decide to watch a film together. Nana guesses that Alfie has a lady friend coming over when he arranges for her to go out. But things don’t go to plan when the DVD player won’t work and Nana arrives home early.
Johnny, meanwhile, is inspired by Pat’s advice on how to communicate with Ruby.

Alfie asks Little Mo out on a date which makes Mo curious as to who her mystery man is. To help Little Mo escape Mo’s curiosity, Alfie concocts a plan to divert her.
Meanwhile, Jim is jealous when Dot chooses to take a driving lesson with Mr Rawlins rather than spend the afternoon with him, so he decides to spy on her.
Elsewhere, Ruby feels like she has been given too much information about her mum when she quizzes her Dad about his relationship with Tina.
Thursday, May 19
Dot tells Pauline that she has driven away her friends and family. Pauline makes amends with Derek and asks him to move back in, but Derek says his son has offered him a room.
Meanwhile, Dot is flustered during her driving lesson but Mr Rawlins delights her when he quotes the Bible.
Elsewhere, Pauline is touched when Demi asks her to be Aleesha’s godmother; and when a rat runs across the floor at the Millers’, Rosie and Demi are horrified.

Alfie and Little Mo’s romantic evening is interrupted by Garry and Minty returning home early. Alfie smuggles Little Mo off to the Arches but she worries that they are not meant to be together.
It is the anniversary of Arthur’s death, and Pauline tries to manipulate Sonia and Martin into agreeing to move back in. Later, Pauline confides in Dot about her future plans…<br>
